Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Prymax Technologies ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the Arrow Escape: Tap Away Puzzle mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play (package name com.prymaxtechnologies.arrowescape.tappuzzlegame).
Information We Collect
We do not require account creation, and the App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or other directly identifying information. The App does use third-party services that collect certain information automatically, including transaction data for in-app purchases, as described below. Your game progress, coin balance, and settings are stored on your own device and are not sent to us.
Analytics — Firebase Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how players use the App and to improve gameplay. Firebase Analytics may collect:
- App usage and interaction data (e.g., levels and chapters played, level completion, screens visited, ad requests/impressions/dismissals, in-app events)
- Game-mode activity — Daily Puzzles, Rush, and Weekly Expedition boards started, completed, or abandoned, how long they took, and which helps (hints, undos, boosters, revives) were used
- Streak activity — when a daily streak starts, continues, ends, or is protected or repaired
- In-game economy activity — coins earned from clearing levels, Daily Puzzles, and streaks; coins spent on items such as hints, revives, boosters, streak protection, unlocks, and cosmetic themes; and which coin or starter offers were shown, accepted, or dismissed. These are gameplay balance figures, not a financial record.
- A small set of non-identifying gameplay attributes attached to events so results can be compared between kinds of players: the chapter you have reached, your coin balance as a broad range (for example "1-99"), your streak length as a range, whether you have made a purchase or removed ads (yes/no), roughly how many ads you have been shown (none, low, medium, high), your chosen visual theme, and how many badges you have earned
- A randomly assigned test group label used to compare two versions of a gameplay or ad-frequency setting. The label is generated on your device, is not derived from anything about you, and is attached to events only so results can be compared between groups.
- Interactions with optional features: whether you accepted or declined the daily reminder question and Android's notification permission, when reminders are scheduled and which type of reminder you opened, when you tap Share on a Daily Puzzle result and whether it went through the share sheet or was copied, and when we asked you to rate the App (we do not receive your rating or review)
- Settings changes (for example sound, vibration, theme, or reminders turned on or off)
- Device information (device model, operating system version, language, general region)
- App instance identifiers (not tied to your name or contact details)
- Basic stability information, sent when a previous session ended unexpectedly — the screen you were on, the last action recorded, how long the session lasted, and the app version. See "Crash Reporting" below for the fuller diagnostic report.
This data is aggregated and used to understand gameplay trends; it is not used to individually identify you. If you are located in the EEA or UK, no analytics data is collected until you give consent: we ask once, after you complete level 9, and — only if you decline — ask at most one more time after you reach level 50. Declining that second time is final and you won't be asked again. If you're in the EEA or UK, you can change your choice at any time from the App's Settings screen. Outside the EEA/UK, there is no consent prompt or Settings toggle for this — analytics collection begins automatically as described above. Learn more about how Google handles this data at Google Firebase's privacy and security page.
Crash Reporting — Firebase Crashlytics
To find and fix the faults that make the App freeze or close unexpectedly, we use Google Firebase Crashlytics. When a crash or a serious error occurs, Crashlytics may collect:
- A technical crash report, including the stack trace — the internal sequence of code that was running at the moment of the failure
- Device and build details (device model, operating system version, available memory and storage, orientation, app version and build)
- A small set of diagnostic labels we attach ourselves: the app build, the visual theme in use, the highest level you have unlocked, the level you were playing, your coin balance, the screen you were on, and a short trail of the screens and levels leading up to the failure
- A Crashlytics installation identifier, generated by Google for the App on your device. It is not your name, email, or Google account, and it is reset if you uninstall or clear the App's data.
The App also detects sessions that ended abnormally without a native crash — for example when the operating system closes the App under memory pressure — and reports that as a non-fatal event so both kinds of instability appear together.
Crash reporting follows exactly the same consent as analytics. If you are located in the EEA or UK, no crash data is collected or sent until you allow analytics collection, and turning the Analytics toggle off in Settings turns crash reporting off as well. Outside the EEA/UK, crash reporting is on by default. We do not deliberately place any personal information into these reports, and we use them only for diagnosing and fixing faults. Learn more at Google Firebase's privacy and security page.
Daily Reminder Notifications
The App can send you optional reminders — for example when a new Daily Puzzle is ready, when a streak you have built is about to end, or a gentle nudge a few days after you last played. Reminders are off until you turn them on.
- Permission and choice: the App asks in its own screen first, and only after you have played for more than a day. If you say "Not now" we may ask once more later; we do not ask again if you decline Android's notification permission. On Android 13 and later, Android also asks for the notification permission itself. You can turn reminders off at any time in the App's Settings, or in your device's notification settings.
- Scheduled on your device: reminders are local notifications created and timed by your device's own alarm system. They do not use a push-notification server, we do not collect a push token, and the reminder text is written on your device from your progress (such as the Daily Puzzle number, your streak length, or the next level you will play). At most one reminder lands on any day, and nothing is scheduled while you are playing.
- Timing: to send a reminder around the time you usually play, the App keeps a short list of the hours of the day at which your recent sessions started. This list is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. We do not request the exact-alarm permission, so a reminder may arrive a few minutes late.
Sharing and Rating
Sharing a Daily Puzzle result. When you tap Share after a Daily Puzzle, the App prepares a short text — the game name, the Daily Puzzle number, your hearts and stars, your time, how many hints and undos you used, and a link to the App on Google Play — and hands it to Android's share sheet (or copies it to your clipboard if no share sheet is available). You choose the app and the recipient; the App does not send this text anywhere itself, and we do not see it. What the receiving app does with it is governed by that app's own privacy policy. The Google Play link carries campaign tags (such as "share") that allow Google Play Console to count installs that came from shares in aggregate; the tags contain no personal information.
Rating the App. After a good moment in the game — and never more than occasionally — the App may ask Google Play to show its in-app review dialog. Google decides whether the dialog appears and handles it entirely; we do not receive your rating, your review text, or whether you submitted one. To avoid asking too often, the App keeps a count of how many times and when it asked, on your device.
Game Progress and Coins Stored on Your Device
The App includes an in-game coin economy: you earn coins by clearing levels and Daily Puzzles and keeping a daily streak, and you can spend them on items such as hints, revives, boosters, streak protection, unlocks, and cosmetic themes. The following are stored locally on your device, in the App's own private storage:
- Your level progress, stars, Daily Puzzle results and calendar, streak and streak protection, Rush and Weekly Expedition records, badges and collection, and the level you were in the middle of
- Your coin balance, lifetime coins earned, claimed rewards, boosters, and cosmetic themes you own, together with an integrity check value used to detect tampering
- A record of the purchases already credited to you, so the same coin pack is never credited twice
- Your settings and choices: sound, music, vibration, theme, reminders, your analytics and advertising consent answers, and your answers to the reminder and rating prompts
There is no account behind any of this and we keep no copy on our servers. We cannot see your coin balance or progress, and we cannot restore it for you. Coins and progress are lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, or move to a new device. If you have Android's backup turned on, Android may include the App's files in your device backup to your own Google account, which is handled by Google under its own terms and may restore them if you reinstall or set up a new device. Items bought with real money can be restored through Google Play, as described below.
Advertising — Google AdMob
The App displays two ad formats served through Google AdMob:
- Rewarded video ads — shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, such as continuing a level or Daily Puzzle after a miss, getting a hint, doubling a reward, or repairing a streak
- Interstitial ads — shown occasionally between levels once you reach a certain point in the game, with built-in limits on how often they can appear in a session
To serve and measure these ads, AdMob and its partners may collect:
- Advertising identifier (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
- Ad interaction data (requests, impressions, clicks, completions)
- General device and network information used for ad delivery and fraud prevention
We also log which ad network served a given ad and its approximate revenue value through our analytics, for internal reporting on app performance — this is not tied to your identity.
If you (outside the EEA/UK) have interacted with the App, we may use Firebase's integration with Google Ads to show you ads for Arrow Escape: Tap Away Puzzle on other websites and apps you use ("remarketing"), based on your app activity such as levels reached or in-app purchase status. This uses the same advertising identifier described above and is subject to the same opt-out controls described in "Your Choices" below.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, we ask for your consent before showing any ads. When you first launch the App, we display Google's certified consent form (the Google User Messaging Platform), which explains how your data would be used for advertising. Ads are served only if you grant consent there. If you decline — or if your consent status cannot be determined, for example because of a network problem — no ads are requested or shown to you. You can change or withdraw your ad consent at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Settings inside the App, which reopens Google's consent form. Regardless of your answer, no remarketing audiences are built from EEA/UK app activity. Outside the EEA/UK, ads are served through AdMob as described above without a consent prompt. You can review or reset your device-level ad personalization preferences in your Google Settings at any time. Learn more at Google's Advertising Policy and the AdMob Data Disclosure page.
In-App Purchases & Payments
The App offers optional in-app purchases — a one-time ad removal, a one-time starter offer, and consumable coin packs — all processed entirely through Google Play Billing. Coins are a virtual in-game item with no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Connectivity check: before opening Google Play's purchase sheet, the App makes a request to a Google connectivity endpoint to confirm you are online, so a purchase is not started on a dead connection. The request carries no information about you or your game.
- Purchase records on your device: to make sure a coin pack is never credited twice, the App keeps a local list of purchase tokens it has already honoured. This list stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Payment Processing: We do not process payments directly. All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal banking details, credit card numbers, or full billing address.
- Purchase Data: We receive transaction data (such as digital receipts, order IDs, and purchase history) from Google. This is used to verify your purchase and deliver what you bought — removing ads, or crediting coins to the balance held on your device.
- Restoring purchases: on launch, and when you choose Restore, the App asks Google Play which purchases you own so ad removal and other one-time items can be re-applied after a reinstall. Coins already spent or lost with local data are not restored.
- Refunds: All in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policies. If you experience an issue with a purchase, please contact us at the support email provided below with your Google Play Order ID.
Device Permissions
The App asks for few permissions. It uses network access to load ads, send analytics and crash reports, and complete purchases; the vibration permission for haptic feedback (which you can turn off in Settings); and, only if you turn reminders on, the notification permission. The App does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files. The Google services described above may also use the advertising identifier, as explained in the advertising section.
How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- To understand aggregate player behavior and identify bugs or balance issues
- To diagnose and fix crashes, freezes, and other stability faults
- To balance and tune the in-game coin economy, game modes, and reminders, and to compare two versions of a setting across randomly assigned test groups
- To serve and measure the performance of in-app advertising
- To show remarketing ads for the App outside of the App, to players outside the EEA/UK, based on aggregate app activity
- To process, verify, and fulfill in-app purchases, and to restore previously purchased digital items
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information collected by Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, Google Ads, and Google Play Billing is shared with Google as the service provider, subject to Google's own privacy policies linked above. Content you choose to share through the Android share sheet goes to the app and person you pick, not to us. We do not share data with any other third parties beyond what is necessary for these services to function.
Data Retention
Analytics, crash, and advertising data is retained according to Google's default Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AdMob retention settings; Crashlytics reports are retained by Google for a limited period and then deleted automatically. We do not separately store or retain personal data on our own servers, as the App does not use a backend account system. Game progress, coins, and settings are kept on your device for as long as the App is installed and its data is not cleared.
Your Choices
- You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization").
- You can also manage or opt out of ad personalization and remarketing directly through Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com.
- You can turn daily reminders on or off at any time in the App's Settings, or withdraw the notification permission in your device's app settings. You can also decline to share a result or to be shown the rating dialog — neither is required to play.
- You can uninstall the App, or clear its data from your device's app settings, at any time. This stops all further data collection from your device and permanently erases the progress, coins, and purchase records stored locally.
- If you're located in the EEA or UK, you'll be asked at first launch whether to allow ads, through Google's certified consent form, and separately — after you complete level 9 — whether to allow analytics collection. The App's Settings screen then gives you two controls: Ad Privacy Settings, which reopens Google's consent form so you can change or withdraw ad consent, and an Analytics toggle, which also governs crash reporting. Outside the EEA/UK, there is no consent prompt for either, and neither Settings control appears — collection and ads run by default. Remarketing is never applied to EEA/UK players, whatever your answers.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Contact Us
Because the App has no account system, we cannot identify which analytics or advertising records belong to any individual person, and so we are unable to action a targeted deletion request. You can, however, control this data yourself: resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device's Google settings severs the identifier used for ads, and uninstalling the App or clearing its data stops all further collection and detaches future activity from any previous records. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, email us at: prymax.support@gmail.com. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to reply to you.
